Our Founders
Classical music in Hampshire and Surrey
Our Founders are Peter and Vivien Harrison, who over the last 20 years, have established Grayshott Concerts as one of the most successful volunteer-run, live music groups in the country. They have mastered the skills of attracting world-class musicians, orchestras, soloists, choirs, conductors and composers from across the world, to come and perform in the heart of the village community at acoustically-perfect St Luke's Church in the village.
In recognition of his outstanding volunteer work, our co-founder, Peter Harrison, was named one of Queen Consort Camilla's Coronation Champions in 2023. This prestigious award celebratesd individuals who have made a significant impact in their community, and we are incredibly proud of Peter and Vivien's dedication to Grayshott Concerts.
To acknowledge their enormous contribution to the conception, development and success of Grayshott Concerts, the Trustees presented Peter and Vivien with a bespoke presentation plate at our final concert in 2024.
We are enormously grateful for their vision, powers of persuasion and commitment to local classical music.
