Our £15,000 grant from East Hampshire District Council will support half of the costs of our Outreach Programme for three years. Some of the contribution we make to the programme will come from the existing generous support of our Friends, sponsors and advertisers. We aim to use as much of the gift aid reclaimed on Friends donations for outreach.

We will also provide some tickets for concerts to reach out to our new musicians and parents and we will arrange outreach concerts and workshops involving the artists performing within our concert programme.

However, sustaining our Outreach into the community will benefit from additional fundraising and we are seeking to raise at least £5,000 per year from various fund raising activities including donations.

Your donations are a lifeline to both the community and the future of music. By supporting Grayshott Concerts, you are not only bringing world-class performances to our village, but you are also investing in the lives of local children and residents in care settings.

Your generosity can help establish the programme and then ensure a continuity which will see local children with an interest in music develop their skills and will ensure that our adult programmes can maintain essential continuity of care.

Your donations will make an immediate difference. Typically :

• £ 20 provides a term of music lessons for a pupil as part of a class of 30
• £ 50 provides an hour long musical therapy session for an adult in a social care setting
• £ 100 supports a musical performance in a residential home
• £ 600 supports an entire form of 30 pupils for one term of music lessons.

In return for your donations, we will provide regular updates on our progress, let you know about how we are having an impact and involve you where we can in some of the ad hoc concerts which we hope will result from our school's outreach.
