Outreach Overview

Grayshott Primary SchoolAt Grayshott Concerts, we believe in the transformative power of music. Our Outreach Programme, launched in 2024, brings music into schools and adult care settings, harnessing its ability to uplift, educate, and improve well-being. With support from East Hampshire District Council and other partners, we aim to make music accessible to everyone in our community, with the following specific aims.:

  • Enrich the lives of young children : Your contributions allow us to expand our Schools Project, bringing music education into local primary schools. By providing access to instruments and expert instruction, we give young learners the opportunity to discover and develop their musical talents. Who knows? Your support could help uncover the next great composer or virtuoso, right here in our community.
  • Foster new talent : Music education at a young age can ignite a lifelong passion and create opportunities for future careers in the arts. With your help, we can ensure that local children, regardless of background, have the chance to explore their potential in music and performance.
  • Support mental health through music : Our Adult Support Project brings music therapy and live performances to care homes, offering a source of comfort, joy, and connection to residents. Music has been proven to improve mood, reduce anxiety, and even stimulate memory in older adults. Your donations help make a real difference in the mental health and well-being of some of the most vulnerable members of our community.
