For our Friends evening, we look forward to welcoming internationally acclaimed clarinettist Emma Johnson with the Orchestra for the Environment. The orchestra is a group of hand-picked virtuoso players who all share concerns about the environment. Amongst other exciting pieces, Emma will perform her own work, Tree of Life, together with classics inspired by nature including -

The programme is still being developed, but with classics from Bernard Herrmann’s Psycho, Vertigo and Citizen Kane through John Williams’ Harry Potter and Schindler’s List to Ennio Morricone’s The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, and Vangelis’ Blade Runner and Chariots of Fire, there is such a rich variety of music to inspire us. If you have your own favourites that you’d like to suggest, please let our Artistic Director know!
